A Taste of Home

What dish reminds you of home? Is there a recipe you've called your mum or dad for over and over again? Or a meal that you're craving to make, if only you could get the ingredients here?

Presented as part of the NGV Melbourne Art Book Fair’s satellite program, A Taste of Home was a zine-making workshop led by Filipinx artist and designer, Stephanie Ochona aka Creepy Cheese. Participants explored the multifaceted aspects of food, its role in our lives, and the intrinsic link food has to our culture, identity, history, and values.

The workshop was facilitated as part of I fear for my books, a collection of texts centring Filipino authors and curated by Saluhan Collective for SHELF - a community library and learning site that supports re-gathering of communities in partnership with Arts Gen.
